ElfingAround.com Review!

So.. I had the pleasure of reviewing an awesome package from www.ElfingAround.com.

Lisa from ElfingAround.com was an absolute pleasure to work with and I just love that I was offered the opportunity to review such an awesome website that offers such an traditional yet creative Gift for our kids for the Holidays.

When I heard about Elfing Around, I thought the name was cute and catchy! I looked over the product and thought, hmm Christmas Elfs for my girls - would be quite interesting!

The website is actually very easy to navigate, the theme is of course Christmas/Elfs and easy on the eyes. I loved the fact that the website explained what you and your child will experience. Very detailed and just reading the experience portion of the website got me all giddy!

So Basically, what they sell are Elf Dolls that work in Santa's workshop, that come to the home to visit your child. 12 days before Christmas, the parent will leave the little clues and notes that comes in the package for the child to find/discover. It's a very interactive gift that both parent and child will enjoy! (My daughter and I surely did!)

You can select a Boy or Girl Elf to visit your home - it's rather easy as pie to order from the website! Once you select if you'd like a boy or girl elf, you fill out a small questionaire - which includes:

Elf's name (Choose from a list), Profession of elf (Choose from a list), You child's name (optional), Child's Birthday (Optional - for birthday card if applicable).

The package itself includes:
- Your selected plush elf
- Parent adventure guide book
- "Letter from Herbie Elf, Jr." With Envelope
- 2 Elf Tattoos
- Wish List
- "I'm Here" Letter
- "See You Next Year" Letter

When I received the package, my daughter was real curious as to what it was, but it was rather discreet and neatly packaged so she wasn't sure what was in there. She had NO idea there was an amazing holiday elf that was going to visit/vacation with her! I did have it personalized with her name so that it would be a bit more special for her.

The Parent guide was extremely easy to use and follow as the directions are written every step of the way - there is no way to goof this experience up! The Parent guide contains 12 activities parents can set up in five minutes or less after the kids are asleep. During the day, Elf can be played with, but at night, the magic happens! the clues/coupons that will be used to either find something or reward the child. It made this experience so special because my daughter loved finding all the clues around the house and the time spent together is always precious! The cute letters from the Toy Workshop from the North Pole and all the neat and nifty extras it comes with are just so adorable!

Before you want to start the fun, the letter will let your child know to be expecting him or her! Once your Elf friend arrives, parents can use the guidebook to set up a “magical scene” for your children to find in the morning when they wake up!

I honestly think you and your child will absolutely love this product! You get the best bang for the buck with this traditional and heartfelt gift for your child! I think this would be a great christmas tradition to start. Surely will bring the Christmas spirit alive every year for the kids to get excited about. Although my youngest daughter was too young (21 months old) to understand - my 3 year old daughter loved the "treasure hunt" as she'd call it, and she absolutely loved her doll, whom we picked the name "Sparkle".

Super Late :: Halloween 2009 :)

So I know this is real late lol, but i thought i'd share with those that actually follow me and read my blogs..

what i've been up to.. Work has been real hectic at times.. but I love my job/where I work and am very thankful I have a job. it has it's moments though :)

alright.. SOO we're going to be going waaaaaaaaaay back.. since i've been sort of lagging on my blogging lol.. anyway here.. we.. goooo! :) enjoy!

Halloween 2009!

My girls are now 3 Years old and 20 Months. Tianna is the oldest, and last year she was Tinkerbell and loved her costume! and she didn't really wear it that long - so we figured Jasmyn would be Tinkerbell this year!

It was the first time that Daddy was off (Last Halloween Hubby was working) and took BOTH girls trick or treating!

I just absolutely wanted to thank an awesome buddy of mine (Mylene) For making this amazing graphic for me for my MomTV Show!

I'm very much excited. I was feeling ill last week and actually ended up getting sent home last Thursday (think it was just the stomach bug - was vomiting ughh).. and Wasn't able to go to work On Friday since I was feeling under the weather.. I couldn't do my show either..

So i've sent in all the appropriate Items for my show and i'll get my official page/items/date etc for it all tomorrow! WOO HOO! I'm very much excited for this! I hope you all will tune in!

Also - i'll be updating my bloggeroonie with pictures/video's from halloween (omg i know totally lagging!), and from our Disneyland trip (Happy Birthday Kayla - my niece!) .. We had a great time - the girls totally enjoyed.. so i'm looking forward to blog about that - so keep an eye out!

Get with the Times!

LOL I know how absolutely late I am asking about how everyone's Halloween weekend was.. but Hope you all had a great time with your friends and family!

As for Me.. It was My youngest ones first time out trick or treating since she was about 8 months last halloween and Hubby was working so I could only handle one kiddo at a time lol..

Last year Khristianna was Tinkerbell.. and so this year Jasmyn got the Tinkerbell hand me down.. which was still in NEW condition! we just decided to get her a new set of fairy wings that lit up.. she loved it!

Khristianna this year was Ariel, and she made a beautiful one indeed! Jasmyn didn't like her costume so much, i guess because of the material - it was just too itchy for her. Daddy had a great time with his girls (yes including me!haha!) that it was his first time trick or treating with both his daughters! it was real fun!

I'm still trying to get pictures from my phone - but my iTunes is being real wacky right now... but i'll definitely post some as soon as I can - just so you all can see!

After Halloween - do you have any candy left?! were there a lot of kids that were trick or treating in your neighborhood?

I live in a gated community with tons of children so it was fun and festive!

Back to the Basics...

So.. I had been contemplating on coloring my hair for awhile now.. and I Finally got it done! :)

This is my old hair color.. (sorry i look a hot mess as some would say - it was 5:00PM after a long day's work)

and then of course.. the NEW 'do :)

It's actually taking me a bit to get used to.. Although I cannot style it like my hairstylist did (Thank you Errine!) I do like it :)

I actually had the platinum blonde high panels for A LOOOONG time.. I think since Last year - so it was about time for a change!

What do you all think? I'm actually trying to grow my hair as well.. so we'll see how that works.. i have the urge to cut it short again AHH! (i've always had short hair.. and once it gets to a certain point - i want to cut cut cut it off!) lol.. it's a vicious cycle I have.. but I'm hoping that i'll get over the hump and just grow it out!

I don't know if you all know.. but I'm going to have my very own MomTV Show!

The show name is just plain old "World For Moms" Talk with Khristine. NO I was not going to name my show IKhristine (lol, for those that watch Nickelodeon's ICarly)...

I guess i'd just like to keep it simple right? Plus it's going to be about Women/Moms and all that fun stuff us momma's like to talk about!

If you go to www.momtv.com You can see my stupid audition video i sent in on the front freakin page LOL how DUMB do I look?! LOL.. i couldn't help but laugh after watching it.. I can't believe I actually submitted it and got chosen! :) I guess it was the text message i had received, or the loud bang.. gosh I'm such a clutz!

I guess that's just a preview of what's to come on my show! haha! Just kidding! The show is going to be amazing and awesome and SO much fun! I encourage ALL of you to tune in if you can!

It's most likely going to be Friday's at 6PM PST/9PM EST! I hope you can make it!

i'm going to be giving you all more information as i get it..I just need my buttons which a friend was making but couldn't get to me in time.. i'll have to either do it myself (which i don't wanna do only because i SUCK at photoshop right now - it's been awhile, i'm a bit rusty with it).. AHH!

but once I get my button i'll have my spot for sure! any volunteers? lol..

Just another Manic Monday..

Hello Land of bloggers! :)

It's Monday evening, and I have survived today. Can you believe I'm training an RN? (I'm an LVN.. soo yea - teaching an RN to take blood pressure/vital signs, process a patient, teach normal blood pressure parameters etc - is a bit weird for me lol - since they're above lvn's - or so i thought!)

Anywho, i'll be training this RN for the rest of the week, hope I'll last!

on a brighter note.. I was supposed to go to my yoga bootcamp class at 24hr in panorama city after work, but decided my buns of steel were way too sore to do anything! so it's my off day.. Instead i decided it was about time I got my eyebrows waxed before it grew into a unibrow LOL! definitely needed! I get my girlie stuff done at Magical Touch Day Spa in Reseda located on Tampa/Saticoy!~ Eva is the owner and she's just awesome and down to earth!

Magical Touch Day Spa has sponsored one of our contests which one of the winners win's a WFM custom facial! wo0t wo0t! lol..

soo back to my workout regimen..I think i'm going to resume my workout routine on Wednesday night at YRG class @ 8:30PM since Hubby is off that day. You all should check the yoga/bootcamp class out - it's NOT your average yoga! yrgfitness.com i believe is the link if you want to check out the type of exercises we do - but our instructor Averill is freakin NUTS! lol he's great though - keepin the class lively and fun!

In conjunction with eating right and doing free weights - taking this yoga class, i've been able to lose 16 pounds!! My birthday week was really bad, as i sorta let go and eat whatever the heck I wanted LOL.. so now i'm paying for it.. I think I was also bloated from my monthly friend paying a visit.. ughh!

Hubby and I celebrated our 3 Year Wedding Anniversary this past Sunday~! yay! :) We've been together for 9 Years (and 3 months to be exact this coming 7th~).. We celebrated by first going to the gym (swweeet! lol), then getting ready - heading to BJ's for a late lunch and then just sorta hanging out together for the rest of the day with our girls.. the best anniversary I could ever ask for! :)

I guess you'll read a lot of randomness in my posts - so get used to it and try to keep up!

Not much else going on for today - just your usual.. laundry, cleaning up the hot mess the girls did in the living room downstairs, the playroom, their room and my room... lovely!

We did install a new feature at www.WorldForMoms.com -- You should check it out! You can now upload your pictures and video's from your computer or from youtube/facebook/myspace! how sweet right?

If you happen to use it (you do have to be a registered member with at least 20 posts - but how hard is that? it's FREE to use!).. let me know how you like it.. since it IS NEW I'd like to know if anyone is having problems, or fix any bugs that might happen during use!

Anyway.. I think that's all for now.. not quite sure how to spruce up my blog just yet - but we'll get there! :)

Gym Talk..

So - I was at the gym earlier with Hubby... (Was working out Legs).. doing squats, lunges etc etc..

then i came to thinking.. what do you think about when your working out/exercising? anything in particular? are you listening to your mp3 player? does listening to music get you hyped/pumped?!

For ME.. at this point in time - i'm just really wanting to lose the extra baby fat that has accumulated over the small span of time i had my girls.. So when i'm hitting the gym hard doing the free weights, i'm listening to my iphone gym mix.. and what really goes through my head is ..

"Must - Get - Sexy" LOL! I think for the most part it works.. gets me throught my workout! I actually do love going to the gym! I just had a slump where I was unmotivated, bloated and just felt down in the dumps..

Exercising really got me out of the slump since i've got back into my routine!

One of my idols that i look up to is Jennifer Nicole Lee! She's a Mommy of two, She has an amazing body - and I absolutely adore her! google her! she's amazing and has an awesome figure!!

I hope to have my body like that one day!

First - thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you find anything I share here informational, fun, aspiring and hope you will share my blog with other Moms all over the world. Help me spread the word about my Mommy Website I have created (in 2005) in hopes to help all moms all over the world that need support!
